Spring is Blossoming

A bit of rain, a bit of sunshine, and a whole lot of new growth. Spring is blossoming wonderfully here in the Argent Double River Valley. On a windy day, the cherry blossom petals dance across the tops of the trees, and scatter themselves about the expanding veg plot. The birdsong is sweeter than ever, the river is high and filling the valley with it's magical sound, and the wind is fragrant with the smell of new leaves and budding flowers. This new season has us gearing up for expanding horizons for the year ahead in our peaceful little valley sanctuary.

So, here's what's new....

While, weekly pottery classes for kids and adults are still happening on Wednesdays, we've added a new class on Saturdays starting April 18th. Cost is $7 per session. Come join the fun!

Newly designed marbleized clay teapots are now available. Reserve yours today, as they are going fast!

As for what's happening on the land.......

We've got a new WWOOFer (www.wwoof.fr) and she's a busy bee. She's straightened up the strawberry patch, is expanding the veg plot, sprucing up the house, is getting our bee hives going this week and has big dreams to learn to drive the big tractor out front. We're striving to live more sustainably and this summer, with the help of WWOOFers, our green-dreams just may come true...growing enough fruit and veg to no longer have to rely on supermarkets, wildcrafting, keeping bees and developing alternative energy sources.

Come along to Ammonite Pottery and Homestay this summer and enjoy the fresh air, good wine, and the peace and tranquility of our happy valley!
